Surprising many, the company has once again demonstrated their commitment to innovation, defying expectations by swiftly unveiling a fresh series so soon.

The release of three Bonnie series within a year might seem unexpected, but in the fast-paced landscape of the Chinese toy industry, such frequent updates are common. Therefore, for all BJD lovers, this undoubtedly qualifies as a cute and pleasant surprise!


This series is famous for its dreamy scenes and beautiful bonnie outfits，and also known internally in Come4Free as the Bonnie 2.5 Series. This series weakens Bonnie's animal characteristics and gives her more girlish characteristics. For example, comparing to the previous two series, the magnetic bunny ears design has been ceased. Additionally, the concept of a dark-skinned Bonnie has been removed from the design.

Speaking of the design theme, the initial installment of Bonnies by Come4Free had a compelling objective: To inspire women to shed societal burdens, empowering them to make independent choices in both clothing and professions. This initiative was manifested through a street-art-inspired design, cultivating a sense of ease and freedom. In addition, it's noteworthy that Come4Free, as a brand, originated from Come4Arts, a male-oriented American figurine company. Therefore, Come4Free inherently carries American design genes. This is evident in the initial series, which leans towards a more American aesthetic.

When it comes to the second generation, there's been a significant shift. The brand-new Coffee Sweetheart style has been applied to this series. However, the animal body, bunny ears and a dark skin bunny is still their insistence. These elements showcase the company's commitment to their unique design principles, and to the diversity.

From the recent three series, it's evident that COME4FREE showcase a willingness to adapt and make improvements based on feedback from their fans. Their designs now capture cute elements that appeal to people who like cute stuff. I really appreciate the changes they've made for their fans.

In fact, Come4Free doesn't want to limit Bonnie to just rabbits. The choice of rabbit imagery in the first two generations coincided with the Chinese Year of the Rabbit，that's why they chose the rabbit as their image. Therefore, they made some changes in The Starry Night Chapter series to let users realize in advance, that Bonnie's image will be separated from the rabbit. They will use Bonnie as a foundation, to explore the possibility of combinations with other animal elements.

Furthermore, it's worth mentioning the Bonnie Vanilla Zhi Zhi Little Angel Limited—— this is also paving the way for the launch of their next series. This edition is crafted based on the Starry Night Chapter series, presenting a special color variation.

This is a classic tribute to their past works: The body of the second generation is based on the hidden model of the first generation; And the 2.5th generation building upon the second with new color schemes and accessory designs in accordance with the evolving themes. Therefore, the little Angel is a derivative based on the third generation - and it is also the pavement for a new design direction for the fourth generation.
